What this site is

tabelist is a curation media that introduces restaurants in each area, organized by sub-category, based on publicly available rating data from Google Maps.

How we select restaurants

Our editors reference publicly available Google Maps rating data and shortlist shops that meet certain rating and review-count thresholds. We then divide them into sub-categories so they are easy to choose by purpose or occasion, and our editors decide which shops to feature.

• Rating guideline: 3.8 or higher
• Review-count guideline: 30 or more
• Introduced by sub-category (no ranking; shown in Japanese syllabary order within a sub-category)

About how articles are written

Descriptions are written and edited by our editors based on public information such as a shop's business type, location, and price range. We do not quote or reproduce specific reviews (in compliance with the Google Maps Platform terms of service).

Update frequency

Each article is reviewed roughly every 30 days to reflect the latest rating data. You can check the update date in the "Updated" label on each page.

Advertising

This site may display Google AdSense and affiliate advertising (Ikyu, Tabelog, etc.). Articles containing affiliate links are clearly marked "PR" at the top. Whether or not advertising is present does not affect selection or order.
